Hatevil Nutter

Introduction
This site mainly covers the Nutter line which descends from Hatevil (pronounced hay-te e-vill, just like the phrase, “hate evil”) Nutter who was born in England about 1603 and emigrated to the United States and settled in Dover Neck, New Hampshire about 1633.
Other lines included are Ainsworth, Cramer, Dougherty, Dosztal, Eliassen, Frenna, Granrud, Hayes, Hildebrandt, Howarth, Jameson, Lesko, Linthwaite, Livingston, Lorenz, Merle, Napoli, Nilsen/Nielsen, Pawlowska, Perkins, Peplin/Peplinski, Wagner, Wentworth, Whidden/Whitten, Williams, Small, Steinberg, Yasvin/Yaswensky/Jesmin.
The ‘New Hampshire Nutters’ are distantly related to the Nutters of Virginia and Maryland, but this site does not attempt to cover them.
The vast majority of the Nutter genealogy here comes from the excellent book, “Hatevil Nutter of Dover, NH & His Descendants,” by Frederick R. Boyle. I have uploaded this info with the knowledge and permission of Jan Alpert who funded much of the book’s research. This site is not a complete condensation of that book, but give me time...
You can order the book directly from Jan:

Jan Nutter Alpert
35 Spartina Point
Hilton Head Island, SC 29926

The cost is $45 ppd.

The rest of the information on this site was compiled from many sources, public and private. I would be remiss if I did not give thanks to Len Brown, George Zeller, Elaine Lake, Bob Trott of TONRG, the Barney group, the Perkins' researchers: Donna Beaupre, Sharon Perkins, Pat Griffiths and especially Darlene Rudolph (many of them newfound cousins!) and of course, many in my immediate family (you know who you are).
This is by no means the last word on our families as new information is constantly being unearthed. Don't get mad if you see a mistake; I am not a certified genealogist. But, do feel free to contact me with additions and/or corrections.
