About the Play

In her play, Love Arm'd, Aphra Behn & Her Pen, Karen Eterovich celebrates, with humor and poignancy, Aphra's last evening with her live-in lover.

Using Behn's words from her plays, poems and novels, a selection of music from her time to the present, more than forty slides and a 17th century costume which comes together before our eyes
; this full production entertains, enlightens and educates.

Love Arm'd, Aphra Behn & Her Pen is a multi-media production suitable for theatre, university, conference and museum settings.  Workshops are available in: voice and diction; acting; Restoration Theatre; preparing and performing solo-theatre work; and Shakespearean verse.  Presentations are available as readings or full productions, and include a question-and-answer session following the performance.
